Chairman’s Message

BP Healthcare is fully prepared to remain competitive by sustaining a minimum increase in our pricing even with double digits increased operating costs. This is possible by making all stakeholders fully committed to staying PRODUCTIVE and EFFICIENT in the delivery of our services to our customers.

Throughout the year 2022, we have experienced the transition of the COVID-19 pandemic to the endemic phase by witnessing life-threatening cases progressing into the normalisation of COVID-19 cases.

We are honoured to be able to serve the nation in these trying times and awarded as one of the TOP 7 OVERALL OUTSTANDING VACCINATION CONTRIBUTORS by the Ministry of Health (“MOH”) on the Public-Private Partnership National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme.

We warmly welcome 2023 in hopes of a better and more joyful year and no more controlled movement that deprives us of physical and social activities.

Since the invasion of the COVID-19 virus, it has caused major disruption and destruction to the world. Trillions of dollars were spent on fighting COVID-19 globally and making other medical needs an elective.

Everyone is in constant fear of being infected or infecting others unknowingly and nobody is safe; it is mentally tormenting.

The World Health Organisation (“WHO”) and MOH became the most important institutions globally to keep everyone updated on staying safe. This Microbial War disrupted everyone’s life and livelihood!

The majority of the businesses were adversely affected. Only those industries which were dwelling on COVID-related business could survive whilst many other traditional businesses were forced to close, downsize or adapt to new ways of doing the needed by digitising their operations to stay alive.

Fortunately, BP Healthcare has always been at the forefront to have adopted and introduced advanced technology and digitisation way ahead of many other healthcare providers prior to the pandemic. Our nationwide chain outlets augured well to provide services covering all cities and major towns with efficient COVID-19 testing and vaccinations to the public.

As we embark on the year 2023 towards the normalisation of this endemic, BP will shift our focus on providing non-COVID healthcare products and services to look after the continued well-being of the rakyat

In 2023, BP is launching three important services and products to all valued patients and they are:-

  • – HEAD2TOE (H2T) Screening

With optional tests including Specialist Examinations such as ear, nose and throat (ENT), eye, dental geriatric, scopes and many more to cater to patients’ needs.

  • – Vitamin D

Compounding medicine for customised Vitamin D with varying dosages to meet 80% of Malaysians with Vitamin D deficiency.

  • – Genomic DNA Profiling Test

For people to identify potential diseases, allergies and health risks through their genomes.

As we are constantly reminded of the COVID-19 threat, it provides these generations with a good understanding of airborne infectious diseases and preventive measures. We believe that everyone has been well-educated throughout the pandemic, to live responsibly among human beings and safeguard ourselves against microbial consistent attacks.

Last but not least, I would like to thank the Government for entrusting BP COVID-19 screening tests and vaccination during the pandemic. We extend our utmost gratitude and respect to our colleagues for risking their lives to serve our patients without hesitation.

BERKHIDMAT UNTUK NEGARA
